Team Changes
The upcoming Motul TT Assen marks some significant team changes in the MotoGP series. Aprilia returns to the series with their own full factory team effort after a gap of 18 years. VR46 Racing Team also enters the championship, taking over the grid slots from Esponsorama Racing. Gresini Racing makes their comeback as a fully-independent team, with their bikes being supplied by Ducati. Additionally, Petronas SRT bids farewell to the sport, forming a new entry known as RNF MotoGP Racing starting from 2022. These changes promise to add a new layer of excitement to the MotoGP grid.
Rider Changes
The rider changes for the MotoGP 2022 season are equally captivating. Remy Gardner and Raúl Fernández, the top two contenders in the 2021 Moto2 championship, have made the leap to the MotoGP class with Tech3 KTM.
